Have you ever wanted to try playing handbells? Now is your chance! The handbell choirs (Chancel Chimers, Fellowship Ringers, and Beginner Ringers) want you to come try it out and learn some of the techniques we use when we perform. If you have had a passing thought about playing, just want to learn something new or improve your playing skills – come join us!
Louisburg United Methodist Church has had handbell choirs since the early 1990s. Our three choirs play on five octaves of Malmark Handbells and five octaves of Malmark Choir Chimes. Though reading music is helpful, it is not required to play in our choirs. Please contact the Handbell Director John Byrd at john.byrd30@gmail.com for more information.
